(Characters: Phoebe, Douglas
Setting: 3rd floor balcony, overlooking the swimming pool, Hotel Casanova. 4 p.m.)

Phoebe: A garrulous trio.

Douglas: You could hardly put that straight.

Phoebe: Haul them out in a pine box one by one.

Douglas: I’ve got a bit of ash in my eye.

Phoebe: Seeing is believing.

Douglas: Oh and the other thing the thing that sets us apart.

Phoebe: Stay clear stay clean stay out of debt.

Douglas: That girl in the swimming pool was advertising what exactly.

Phoebe: Love of greyhounds maybe.

Douglas: Spice comes in all sizes.

Phoebe: Well there’s always that.

Douglas: Take away only what you can carry and still keep one hand free.

Phoebe: He was moving like he hadn’t seen the sun in days.

Douglas: I don’t know about that.

Phoebe: Just look and tell me doesn’t it remind you.

Douglas: More like he’s retracing his steps looking for lost keys memorizing a speech or an alibi.

Phoebe: It wasn’t an anniversary you’d necessarily want to coincide with a weekend.

Douglas: With that much rope you could hang yourself and anyone else who fancied joining in.

Phoebe: The card’s got a while to run.

Douglas: Expiration’s tied to abuse as I understand it.

Phoebe: Now what’s he doing.

Douglas: Found those keys looks like.

Phoebe: One more scoop.

Douglas: I’ll take the odds but only just.

Phoebe: Careful careful.

Douglas: He’s got something.

Phoebe: Pick him up before he gets to the tunnel.

Douglas: Can we risk it on the inside.

Phoebe: We’ve friends everywhere.

Douglas: No standouts I hope.

Phoebe: From angels to rats and you’d never know.

Douglas: I could use a.

Phoebe: Breathe easy.

Douglas: Still a nice.

Phoebe: A little calm we’re almost there.

Douglas: Would be just the perfect thing.
