(Characters: Aaron, Victor
Setting: Ground floor apartment, Playa de los Jockeys, Coastal Highway. 9 a.m.)

Aaron: Have you had a look in the closet.

Victor: I saw the shirts if that’s what you mean.

Aaron: Ripped to shreds but there they are hanging up sweet as sin.

Victor: Maybe he favors girls with long fingernails.

Aaron: And a soft spot for souvenirs could be.

Victor: Unlike yourself I gather.

Aaron: I was never big on mementoes.

Victor: Not even those photo booth chummies.

Aaron: Haven’t seen one of those in years.

Victor: Dog’s years where was.

Aaron: They bugged the one in Ciudad Libre.

Victor: Right right I’d forgotten that.

Aaron: The restaurant what was the name of it you came in and it was right there on the on the right.

Victor: Coming in yeah oh that was Marie’s Marcel’s.

Aaron: Maurice’s.

Victor: No not Maurice’s but something m.

Aaron: Remember Rappaport and the cigar.

Victor: Sure do and.

Aaron: Staff Sergeant Policarpo.

Victor: Sergeant Poli and her boyfriend.

Aaron: Caught with his turgid in her minty fresh.

Victor: Forgot and left the pictures just lying there.

Aaron: Poli’d know what to do with this one.

Victor: Fearless beast fearless.

Aaron: We were all miles from nowhere when she turned up the can of worms.

Victor: Yet herself she could not save.

Aaron: Something like that.

Victor: Judas bait.

Aaron: It all comes full circle.

Victor: If we were a sequel we’d be in double digits by now.

Aaron: Roman numerals and none of the original cast.

Victor: Except the monster.

Aaron: Here’s the cleaning crew I could use some fresh air.
